OSIN - Fusion Centers are the latest attempt at cooperation between several entities, especially law enforcement groups, at combating terrorism and crime. Or so we are told. But anytime you give a group of mostly neocon white guys that much intelligence capability, you will see basic civil liberties get pissed upon. So, I thought it might be a good time to start looking at them.

Originally, I got my information from Cryptome and it came from a pdf dated 2006. However, it was obvious from that information that many of the fusion centers around the country list only PO Box numbers for their location. Why is that? Do they fear that terrorists would actually go after these centers? No, this is just another sign that control and not security is the main focus of these centers. This project is an attempt to rectify that lack of knowledge, and in most cases I was able to locate where those fusion centers that listed only PO Box numbers are currently located.

Because the FBI is heavily involved in either running or being a main participant in these centers, it only made sense to put this project under the main FBI project. And finally, not all states have created a fusion center at this time, so if your state is not listed, that's why. Read all & check locations @ OSIN
