Robert Parry - George W. Bush's key argument against a timetable for withdrawing from Iraq is that the "enemy" would lie low and "wait us out." But Bush now acknowledges he has no evidence for that claim, "just logic."But why not try a timetable if it might might tamp down the violence from Iraqis who resent the U.S. occupation?
